Application Overview
A food processing and packaging facility required reliable high-speed coding on flexible packaging films and pouches. Products include snack foods, frozen meals and dry goods requiring expiration dates, batch numbers and traceability codes on the packaging surface.
Challenge

We supplied a CIJ printer configured with fast-drying food-grade ink for flexible packaging films. The system was installed on the existing packaging line with minimal modification.
