Mã bị mờ hoặc nhoè giữa ca hiếm khi cần thay đầu in. Hãy kiểm độ nhớt, vòi phun, nhiệt độ và độ sạch của máng thu trước khi chỉnh thông số.

Nhiệt độ và vật liệu thay đổi kết quả

Mực chạy tốt trong buổi sáng mát có thể nhoè vào buổi chiều nóng, nhất là trong nhà máy không điều hoà. Mã bám tốt trên thùng khô có thể đọng thành hạt trên bao bì lạnh có nước ngưng.

Nhìn bao bì kỹ như nhìn máy. Nếu nhà cung cấp đổi lớp phủ, không phải mực tệ đi mà nó gặp một bề mặt khác.

Độ sạch của máng thu và điện cực lệch

Sương mực đóng ở máng thu và các bản lệch theo tuần chứ không theo ngày. Khi đó giọt bị lệch không đều, mã trôi về một phía hoặc các ký tự nhỏ dính vào nhau.

Lau máng thu mỗi tuần và kiểm điện cực tích điện sẽ chặn phần lớn lỗi mà sau này bị quy cho đầu in.

Khi nào thay mực thay vì chỉnh thông số

Nếu ngày sản xuất trên hộp đã cũ, hoặc mực qua cả mùa hè trong tủ ấm, không thông số nào cứu được. Đổi hộp mới, ghi lại số lô và xem lỗi có đi theo mực không.

Để sẵn một hộp dung môi bù trên kệ là bảo hiểm rẻ nhất của dây chuyền. Phần lớn câu chuyện mã mờ giữa ca kết thúc ở đó.
