Un código que se desvanece o se corre a mitad de turno rara vez necesita cabezal nuevo. Revise viscosidad, boquilla, temperatura y limpieza de la canaleta.

Nueve de cada diez veces, un código que sale limpio al empezar el turno y se queda fino a mitad es un problema de viscosidad. El disolvente de reposición se evapora del circuito de tinta toda la jornada y la máquina lo compensa dosificando más. Cuando falta disolvente, o el chip del cartucho ya no informa bien, la tinta espesa y la gota se rompe tarde.

Antes de coger una herramienta, lea la viscosidad en el panel y compárela con la del inicio del turno. Si la tendencia sube, ya sabe dónde está el fallo.

Primero la viscosidad, no el cabezal

La viscosidad es el parámetro que más se mueve y el más fácil de comprobar. Casi todas las caídas de calidad a mitad de turno se reducen a falta de disolvente en el circuito.

Apunte el valor al inicio, a mitad y al final del turno durante dos semanas: empezará a anticipar el día malo antes de que la cámara de calidad avise.

Una boquilla medio tapada parece un ajuste

Una boquilla totalmente obstruida para la máquina. Una medio obstruida es peor, porque sigue trabajando y cada vez imprime peor. El síntoma típico es un código correcto al principio de la línea e ilegible a alta velocidad, o un carácter que siempre pierde trazos.

Haga una prueba de boquilla y mire el patrón de rotura de gota, no el texto. Limpiar es barato; perseguir la misma avería por los parámetros no lo es. Con un cabezal DM o VJ suele bastar el plan de mantenimiento del manual, sobre todo no dejar secar el cabezal.

Temperatura y sustrato cambian el resultado

La tinta que va bien en una mañana fresca puede correrse en una tarde cálida, sobre todo sin control climático. Un código que agarra en un cartón seco puede formar perlas en un envase refrigerado con condensación.

Mire el envase con el mismo cuidado que la máquina. Si el proveedor cambió el recubrimiento, la tinta no empeoró: encontró otra superficie.

Limpieza de canaleta y deflectores

La niebla de tinta se acumula en la canaleta y en las placas deflectoras por semanas, no por días. Cuando ocurre, las gotas se desvían de forma desigual y el código deriva hacia un lado o pierde separación entre caracteres pequeños.

Una pasada semanal por la canaleta y una revisión del electrodo de carga evitan la mayoría de fallos que luego se achacan al cabezal.

Cuándo cambiar la tinta y no los ajustes

Si la fecha de lote del cartucho es vieja, o la tinta ha pasado el verano en un armario cálido, ningún ajuste la recupera. Cambie el cartucho, anote el lote y vea si el fallo se va con la tinta.

Tener en el almacén un cartucho de disolvente de reposición es el seguro más barato de la línea. La mayoría de las historias de código desvanecido terminan ahí.
