Las máquinas Leadtech rara vez llegan a una planta de la misma forma. Una fábrica hereda tres equipos de una línea cerrada, un distribuidor compra un contenedor de máquinas reacondicionadas, y de pronto compras tiene que alimentarlas. Ahí aparece la pregunta: de dónde salen los chips y quién los vende.

Por qué se buscan chips compatibles

La vía original parece razonable hasta que llega la factura. El chip de marca viene con un programa de líquidos originales, y ese programa se cobra por litro, no por chip. Con dos líneas se aguanta. Cuando conviven varias marcas en la misma nave, la cuenta deja de cerrar.

Hay un segundo motivo que se dice menos: estas máquinas duran, así que sobreviven a la cadena de suministro que se montó a su alrededor. Cuando el distribuidor regional retira una línea, los consumibles desaparecen mucho antes que el equipo.

Primero la referencia, después el precio

Los chips compatibles no son intercambiables en toda la gama. El chip debe coincidir con el modelo, la familia de cartucho y, en algunas generaciones, con el firmware. Dos máquinas lado a lado pueden llevar piezas distintas.

Fije la referencia primero y el precio después. Fotografíe la etiqueta del cartucho, anote el modelo y la versión de firmware que aparece al arrancar. Envíe las tres cosas. Un proveedor que pide esos datos suele haber visto el problema antes.

Qué debe poder demostrar el proveedor

Pida tres cosas. Un registro de ensayo del lote, no un certificado genérico. Un plazo de entrega por lote, no por pedido. Y una respuesta clara sobre qué pasa si el lote se rechaza en la recepción.

Luego la pregunta incómoda: a qué modelos ha enviado esta pieza en los últimos seis meses. Un proveedor con volumen real contesta sin ir a consultar. No busca un historial impecable, busca a alguien que conozca sus propias devoluciones.

Precios por volumen y el MOQ

El precio baja por escalones, no en curva suave, y el escalón suele coincidir con el tamaño de un lote de producción. Por eso 100 o 500 unidades aparecen mucho más que 250. Si el proveedor no dice dónde está el escalón, probablemente esté por encima de su consumo.

No sobrepida para alcanzarlo. El chip se conserva bien en almacén; el capital circulante no, y las actualizaciones de firmware tienen la costumbre de llegar en mitad de un ciclo de stock.

Tinta, disolvente y el chip que los une

El chip es solo la mitad de la decisión. Tinta, disolvente y el chip que los autoriza deberían planificarse en la misma línea de presupuesto, porque se agotan a ritmos distintos. El disolvente se va más rápido en producción caliente y con paradas. El consumo de tinta depende mucho más de la densidad de impresión y la velocidad de línea que del calendario.

Aquí se justifica un programa de chips compatibles. Si las Leadtech trabajan con chips y líquidos compatibles, toda la línea de consumibles entra en un solo plan, y esa es la parte del presupuesto que sí es previsible. Las plantas con varios tipos de cabezal suelen consolidar aquí primero.

Stock sin exceso

Calcule el consumo mensual por línea y mantenga un mes en planta y otro en tránsito. Absorbe un retraso de aduana sin inmovilizar dinero en palés de chips que nadie tocará en un año.

Lleve un registro simple: lote, fecha de entrada, línea de destino, unidades consumidas. Cuando algo falle, ese registro convierte una queja vaga en un número de lote, que es la diferencia entre un reemplazo y una discusión.

Qué probar en la primera entrega

La primera partida va a una línea, no a todas. Imprima un turno completo, compruebe el reconocimiento en el arranque y tras un corte de corriente, y vigile los fallos intermitentes de chip no reconocido, que normalmente apuntan a los contactos del cartucho.

Después pruebe el caso aburrido: máquina parada el fin de semana y arranque el lunes. Algunos fallos solo aparecen en frío, y es mejor descubrirlos en una prueba que en una auditoría de cliente.

Lo que más preguntan los compradores

¿Son legales? Sí. La restricción afecta a copiar consumibles de marca o falsear el origen, no a fabricar chips que permitan usar tinta de terceros.

¿Cuánto duran? El chip es un contador de volumen: la vida depende de cuánto imprime, no del tiempo en estantería.

¿Los bloquea una actualización? A veces una revisión mayor cambia el reconocimiento. Los proveedores con volumen lo siguen y le dirán qué versiones se han probado.

¿Cuánto pedir para probar? Lo justo para cubrir una línea durante un ciclo completo, normalmente un lote.
