Wenn ein C4953A Druckkopf schwächelt, ist der erste Reflex in der Halle eine Bestellung. Ein Druckkopf kostet Geld, und die Bestellung fühlt sich entschlossen an. Sie ist auch oft genug falsch, um zwanzig Minuten Nachdenken wert zu sein.

Bei einem Codierer der VJ 1000-Serie sitzt der Kopf am Ende einer Kette: Chip, Kartusche, Tinte, Lösemittel und erst dann die Düse. Die meisten Fehler, die wie ein Kopftotalschaden aussehen, beginnen weiter vorne.

Was der Fehlercode tatsächlich aussagt

Eine Meldung über fehlenden oder aussetzenden Druck zeigt auf den Kopf, aber die Steuerung meldet das Letzte, was sie bemerkt hat, nicht das Erste, was kaputtging. Notieren Sie den Code, bevor ihn jemand löscht. Zwei Codes im Abstand einer Woche sind ein Muster. Derselbe Code, dreimal gelöscht, ist eine Diagnose, die niemand gelesen hat.

Zuerst die Kartuschenerkennung prüfen

Wenn der Codierer eine Kartusche ablehnt, ist der Verdächtige der Chip, nicht die Düse. Ein VJ kompatibler Chip, der aus dem Firmware-Bereich gerutscht ist, wird oft einmal gelesen und beim nächsten Start abgewiesen, und der Bediener liest das als Kopfproblem.

Tauschen Sie eine nachweislich gute Kartusche von einem anderen Gerät, bevor Sie den Kopf anfassen. Das kostet fünf Minuten und klärt die Frage.

Lösemittel und Make-up richten den Schaden an

Make-up, das lange offen stand, oder eine überfällige Lösemittelfüllung ziehen die Viskosität aus dem Bereich. Das Ergebnis ist eine teilweise verstopfte Düse, die sich genau wie ein toter Kopf verhält, inklusive fehlender Punkte in der ersten Zeile jeder Schicht.

Prüfen Sie den Filter, prüfen Sie, wie lange das Lösemittel offen steht, und prüfen Sie, ob jemand die Viskosität wirklich protokolliert oder nur aufs Display schaut.

Wann der Kopf wirklich am Ende ist

Sichtbarer physischer Schaden, eine verformte Düse, oder ein Kopf, der nach einem vollständigen Reinigungs- und Spülzyklus mit nachweislich guter Kartusche weiter ausfällt. Dann tauschen und aufhören zu suchen.

Die Rechnung ist einfach. Zwei Köpfe im Jahr sind Wartung. Zwei Köpfe im Monat sind ein Fluidproblem, das in Hardware bezahlt wird.

Ersatzteile ohne totes Lager

Halten Sie einen Kopf und einen Beutel Chips pro Maschinenfamilie vor, nicht pro Maschine. Schreiben Sie die Firmware-Version auf den Beutel, sobald er ankommt, damit der Beutel, nach dem um zwei Uhr nachts jemand greift, auch der ist, den die Steuerung wirklich liest.
