Willett 的喷码机有种超出所有人计划的服役寿命。乳品厂当年为一条灌装线装的那台 4000 系列,今天还在同一条线上跑,因为它能打码、能封口,机器没坏,谁也不好意思为换新去申请那笔预算。

好消息到这儿。坏消息落在耗材这一环:供应面一年比一年窄,而下单买芯片的人,通常不是当初选机器的人。

Willett 耗材为什么容易被忽略

这类机器在乳品、饮料、零食、线缆工厂卖过不少,而且耐用。车间里机型一杂——一台 Willett、一台更大的平台机型、一台打纸箱的手持机——工厂只会给最大的那台排正式供应计划,其余的靠临场应付。

于是芯片订单变成被动响应。下午四点发现袋子空了,谁先接电话就下单给谁,接下来一个月工厂慢慢发现,这家供应商其实分不清 4000 系列控制器和小机型控制器。

这个习惯可以改,前提是采购端弄明白三件事:芯片要匹配什么、报价单怎么看、一批货怎么在进产线之前验掉。

兼容芯片要匹配的三件事

只有三件:控制器期待的识别数据、数据抵达的格式与时机、以及读取它的那台机器跑的固件版本。

大部分争议都从第三件开始。Willett 的 CIJ 机型生产跨度很长,下面的控制器换过代。十五年前的主板能通过的芯片,不一定是五年前出厂机器的答案,哪怕两台机器挂着同一个型号铭牌。

所以要问的不是供应商是否声称兼容,而是这一批具体测过哪些固件版本、什么时候测的。能用两句话说清这个问题的供应商,已经把你要在自家台上重复的活儿做完了。

把报价单当成料单来读

能真正下单的报价单会写清墨盒系列、芯片修订版、固件范围和测试日期。比这更短的,只是开场报价。

特别留意一个料号藏着两个修订版的情况。旧料盘没销账时就会这样,代价是几个月后冒出来、谁也解释不清的百分之二到三拒收率。出货前料盘怎么贴标,先问清楚;答得含糊就先小批买,同时继续找。

单价也会自抬身价。真正付出去的是上机成本:运费、台上拒收、发错修订版,还有技术员查这三件事花掉的那一小时。把这一列加进自己的比价表。便宜百分之十、拒收率百分之五的供应商,不是更便宜的那个。

起订量与混装这笔账

喷码机芯片的起订量通常按袋算,对供应商方便,对机型多的工厂却是暗亏。永远有一个墨盒系列几乎不动销。

争取混装。这一项让步直接决定你的备件架是在挣地方,还是压着一年的现金。供应商拒绝时,问一句混装对他们到底贵在哪。有时答案是真实的物流成本,有时只是习惯。

芯片、墨水、溶剂排在一张计划上

能在一家买齐墨水、溶剂和芯片就尽量买齐。理由不是忠诚度,是排查效率。凌晨两点喷印变淡时,一通电话就该覆盖所有嫌疑对象:芯片、墨水批次、溶剂配比、过滤器。

拆给三家供应商,换来的是三份客气的解释和一条停下来的线。要建耗材供应就建完整,并把料号放在一张夜班也找得到的表上。

首袋货怎么测

要测就测将来会用它的那台机器,别测离门口最近的那台。测满一个班次,而不是打一张。值得抓的故障出现在连续使用一小时后,不在前十分钟。

每批留一颗芯片,装进写好日期的袋子。一年后这袋东西能回答邮件往来永远回答不了的问题,而留它的成本是零。机型杂的工厂,正是靠这个习惯把一架子散袋变成一份供应记录。

不能停的机器该压多少备件

多数工厂压两到四周的芯片,再多没有。芯片不像墨水会变质,但料盘会放丢、固件会漂,老库存就悄悄变成废料。

真正要紧的是打溯源数据的机器。偶尔打打纸箱的手持机可以等一天;把批次和效期数据喂进那条不能停的线的喷码机,必须有一袋备货在架上,袋子上写着当初订购时的固件版本。

每次再下单前的三个问题

固件换过没有。批次换过没有。墨水那边有没有变动。

大多数时候答案是没有、没有、没有,五分钟就处理完了。一旦有一项变了,就在这票货送到客户产线之前查掉,而不是之后。这个习惯,就是买芯片和经营一条让老喷码机一直能跑的耗材供应链之间的全部差别。
