Leibinger 芯片的第一次下单,基本都顺利。一袋货到厂,喷码机收下了,产线跑起来,大家也就不再提这事。真正决定这家供应商值不值得留的,是半年后的第二单——同一个料号被机器拒了,而没人说得清是机器变了还是片子变了。

为什么第二单才是风险点

JET 系列喷码机的固件是悄悄升级的。几年前出厂的机器和去年出厂的机器,型号名字可能一模一样,底下的关键东西却几乎没有重合。能让老控制器认账的那片芯片,得让新一代控制器也认——而新一代被训练得更爱查,不是更松。

所以该问的问题变了。不是「这片子能不能用在 Leibinger 上」,而是「这批货测过哪些固件代次,什么时候测的」。能书面回答这个问题的供应商,已经替你把要在自己台面上重做一遍的功课做完了。

「兼容」在实际业务里指什么

这个词被拉得很宽。在这个行当里它只该有一个意思:芯片带着控制器期望的识别数据,格式也是控制器期望的那种。不多,也不少。

它不该是把别的品牌数据改写过来的片子,也不该是把控制器调教到无视自检。这种区别在审计或保修索赔来之前是看不见的,来了以后就变成唯一的话题。让供应商用一段不带营销话术的话描述他们的芯片,这段回复比数据表给你的信息更多。

把报价单当料单来读

一份能用的报价,会写明墨盒系列、芯片修订版、适配固件范围和测试日期。只写每千片价格的报价,是谈价的起点,不是答案。

留意同一个料号挂着两个修订版。这种事发生的频率比供应商承认的要高,通常是因为一卷旧料一直没做报废。每百片退两三片的退片率,追下去几乎都追到这里。

每千片的价格看起来精确,其实没有想象中精确。你实际付的是「到厂每片成本」——含运费、含台上退片、含发错修订版的那些。在自己的比价表上单独加一列退片。便宜五个点、退片率也是五个点的供应商,并不便宜。

起订量、混装与慢销型号

喷码机芯片的最小起订量是按袋定的,这对供应商方便,也在悄悄惩罚所有铺得宽的买家。一个备着五个墨盒系列的经销商,总会有一个系列几乎不动。

混装要去争。这一条让步决定的是一个备件架是赚钱,还是压着一年的现金。供应商说不能混,就问他混装到底增加他多少成本。有时候答案是实话,有时候只是习惯。

墨水和芯片走同一条节奏

工厂只要有可能,墨水和芯片就从同一家买,理由很实际。凌晨两点打出来的码发虚时,一个电话就该把所有嫌疑对象都覆盖掉。

把耗材拆给几家供应商,账面上更便宜,第一次停线、两家互相推责时就都花回去了。如果你在建一条耗材线,就把它建全——芯片、墨水、溶剂、清洗液,料号放在同一张表上。

兼容芯片在备件计划里的位置

多数工厂只压两到四周的芯片,不会再多了。芯片本身不会变质,但料卷会放丢、固件会变,旧库存就这么悄悄变成废料。

真正要紧的是那些停不起的机器——产线上打批次数据、一停就是真金白银的那台。这类机器留一套备用芯片在架上,袋子上写清当初是按哪个固件版本订的。

首批货怎么测

要用将来真正跑这批芯片的那台机器测,不是随手抓一台离门口最近的。要跑满一个班,不是打一张码。真正要紧的故障,都在连续用了一小时之后才出现。

每批留一片,装进写好日期和固件版本的袋子。一年后,这个袋子能回答的问题,邮件来回半天也答不上来。

再下单之前

每次都问三件事。上次下单之后固件版本变过没有。批次变过没有。墨水那边有没有变动。

通常两个答案是「没有」。只要有一个是「有」,这批货在送到客户机器上之前就要先验,而不是之后。这些都不复杂,差别只在于你是在买芯片,还是在撑着一条能让喷码机一直转的供应线。
